Sunday, May 22, 2005 Wahooooh!

Guess what?

I'm wearing contacts for the first time ever. This is totally cool. It took me what seemed like 15 minutes to put the contacts in... for each eye. And I got really nice shades.... I look like a badass superchick when I wear them... hehehe.

I'm with Josh right now, we're going to watch the new Star Wars movie later at 8, and we're here at Netopia just to pass the time.

I HAVE CONTACTS!!! THIS IS SO COOL!

Thursday, May 19, 2005 Wide awake

I've been working on my new blog... it's not quite ready yet, so I won't be posting its URL here any time soon. I'll be using it as soon as I move to Kalayaan... for a whole new chapter of my life (naks!).

Besides that, I haven't been doing much.

But I've been thinking a lot.

Mostly about one thing. But I won't be writing about that here... Although I do want to talk about it, my blog probably won't be the best place to write about it... (because my dad reads my blog... hehehehehe... Hi Pa!)

I'm lacking inspiration, so I probably won't make this a long post. I haven't made a decent post in ages, have I? Oh well.

And this post isn't any different.

It's no fun being me.

Love Not Me - John Wilbye

Love not me for comely grace,
For my pleasing eye or face;
Nor for any outward part,
No, nor for my constant heart:
For those may fail or turn to ill,
So thou and I shall sever.
Keep therefore a true woman's eye,
And love me still, but know not why;
So hast thou the same reason still
To doat upon me ever.

Monday, May 16, 2005 Bumalik ako!

I'm back in Baguio, from my four-day enrollment at the University of the Philippines (also known as the University of Pila). I have finally realized why people love Baguio so much - it's a whole different universe here in my city.

In Manila, almost everything is, at best, unattractive. In Baguio, you don't have to look very far to catch a glimpse of beauty. (Heck, I was born here, so what do you expect? Hehehehe.)

And allow me to state the most obvious difference: the weather. It is freaking HOT in Manila. I mean, I've been to Manila loads of times, but I was always sheltered in air-conditioned malls and houses. Actually being really out there for over six hours is a completely different experience. I felt like I could water the whole front lawn of Kalayaan with my sweat, just by rolling around on the grass. It was that bad.

Oh gosh, how the heck am I going to survive?

Crud, I'm worrying again.

Tuesday, May 10, 2005 Melting!

It's so freaking hot in the house, so I went to the city to do cool down. (I'm in SM, right now.)

I haven't blogged in a couple of days.... I'll just tell you about it:

Sunday (Mother's Day) - went to church, of course. Had lunch at the firing range. Then went to the Chinese Baptist to play... afterwards, I had dinner at Swiss Made with my family... bonding, blah blah blah...

Kuya Roy kept texting me, asking me if I wanted to have lunch with him. I was like, "NO." And he was like, "3o minutes lang naman eh." Sheesh. Guys can be so dense.

Monday (yesterday) - I went to Weng's house cause she had her birthday.

Um... that's about it.... I think.

I'm going to Manila tomorrow, I need to enroll at UP. I'm more scared than excited... gaaah.

Saturday, May 07, 2005 Tooo many... rules...

I'm so frustrated!!!

My parents have made a zillion rules for me to follow when I get to college... Whatever happened to my freedom?!?!?!?!?!

Oh, well.

Yes, I know it's for my own good, but sometimes... they should just let go. I mean, that's the whole point of college, right? Right. Don't bother answering that.

Gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah.
